You will be fishing
out of a sturdy 17 foot welded aluminum driftboat that comes
equipped with the added comfort of a 'Bimini style' raintop
and propane heater in order to take the edge off of any cold
day. These driftboats are very stable and strong while at the
same time being quite comfortable and manueverable to fish from.
Driftboats are designed to fish two or three anglers in comfort.
The length of our
actual drift trip, or 'float' can range up to eight or ten miles
in some cases. For the better part, most coastal rivers are
quite gentle in gradient with very few hazards. At best, one
can expect to encounter small sections of rather mild whitewater
(class 1.5) here and there along the way. Whatever you do, make
sure to bring along a camera to capture your river excursion
on film. The surrounding country we drift through is extremely
scenic and downright magnificent in some cases!
